Our mission
Saint Benedict of Norcia dedicated his life to God, in a time when the society around him was decaying. Through his discipleship, communities were born that formed men in prayer and discipline, bringing about a radical new culture, centered on Christ.
Saint Benedict's Workshop aims to do exactly that. It is a workshop that builds up students to be holy Catholic men. It prepares students for the workforce by forming them physically, spiritually and academically.
We teach our students to think, but also to pray, to love, and to build.
Theology and Philosophy
Students have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding and love of the Catholic faith, through studying the classical and medieval thinkers that formed western society.
Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (22710VIC)
Conventional schooling doesn't work for everyone, but that shouldn't deprive students of the ability to pursue further study. By graduating with a cert IV in Tertiary Prep, students will meet the academic requirements to enroll in most university courses.
Certificate II in Construction Pathways (CPC20220)
Many students leave school unsure if they want to pursue a trade or go to university. This pre-apprenticeship gives them the chance to try many of the construction trades and have a realistic appreciation of what each job involves.
Trade experience
All students get the opportunity to work alongside different Catholic tradesmen. They gain valuable, on the job experience, while at the same time receiving mentoring on how to be a Catholic man in the secular trade world.
Why have a gap year, when you can have a full year? Spend the year with friends, and gain life qualifications.
